Federal workers have lost security clearances over allegations of relatively minor offenses:

• faxing a resume using a commercial fax machine...
• a call from a jilted boyfriend saying a person might not be reliable...
• questions about $67 in personal charges to a military telephone...

So why does Karl Rove still have his security clearance?
